Little kids are fascinated by the world of grown-up work. Created by the talented Japanese illustrator Mayumi Oono, the Little Professionals series takes pretend play at grown-up careers in a fun and original direction, with special interactive features included with each book.

I Am a Little Pastry Chef offers the budding baker a buffet of delectable cookies, towering cakes, and scrumptious custards, along with an envelope full of stickers shaped like cakes, cherries, strawberries and all sorts of delicious decoration. The mix of craft supplies, creativity, and imagination make the perfect recipe for tomorrow’s grown-up dessert designer.

"The latest book in the Little Professionals series “I Am a Little Pastry Chef” introduces kids to the love of baking. By using illustrations and fun interactive stickers, this book shows young readers through basic steps of baking: from the tools they need, the treats they can make, the delicious flavors they can use, and the mixing, shaping, and baking process. This book shows that we can discover our inner creativity and celebrate with each other through the fun of baking." - Duff Goldman, Pastry Chef and Mentor of Food Network’s “Kids Baking Championship

"As a teen chef, I can attest to how important it is for kids to learn their way around the kitchen. Mayumi Ooono's I Am a Little Pastry Chef cultivates creativity and curiosity in the kitchen for budding pint-sized pastry chefs." - Matthew Merrill, Season 2 Contestant of Food Network’s “Kids Baking Championship”

Kids discover the joy, creativity, and excitement of grown-up jobs in Mayumi Oono’s series of interactive board books, each with a unique selection of craft supplies.
